Friendships between Men and Women - Why can they be challenging?

I have had many friends come and go throughout my lifetime at the young age of forty four.

I have often wondered why men and women share the same views on some topics and vary so drastically on others. It has always seemed to me, with past experiences, that women are better at multiple friendships than men.

Women will often venture outside the rubber band and have multiple friends, both men and women, and all for different reasons. They can have friends for shopping, friends with children, fri… Continue

Hello everyone! My name is Tammy. I am 25 years old and live in New Jersey. I started fishing about a year ago, and it has now become a passion for me. Its all I want to do and think about. Angler's on Foot & Fishing Reports from Alabama to Florida ---- Tight Lines

I enjoy fishing the flats all over Florida often stalking Reds , Snook and Trout using artificial baits only !! I've recently had the opportunity to fish the Pensacola and Gulf Breeze region and the bite was wild . I started the morning off around 6:30 am with Top Water Baits , then entered mid morning tossing suspending baits where my luck continued to carry over from the morning bite. I called it a day around 11:30 am . The morning bite brought in 2 reds 1 @ 13" and 1 @ 19" . Trout on the othe… Continue

Can A Fish See Color?

Fishing lures often boast great "attractive powers." Some lures rattle, some click, some fly. On balance, these "lures" are designed and built to hook fishermen, not fish. Why should fly fishers care about lures? The more I see fly tiers adding gimmicks to flies, the more their flies resemble lures. The more I see flies resembling lures, the more I realize their greatest value lies in fly-fisher "entertainment." Understanding how a fish sees will help you create flies designed, not to entertain,… Continue

Why Do People Kiss Fish Before Putting Them Back In The Water After Catching Them?

It is an old tradition to do with luck. It symbolizes a 'kiss goodbye' as well as offering a mark of respect to the fish and a thank you for the sport. As fish do not understand speech fisherman believe they communicate in kisses. However, not all fishermen kiss their fish, some believe it is unhygienic to do so. There are many old superstitions and wives tales surrounding fishermen and life at sea so kissing fish is really not very unusual. Other fishermen put maggots on their tongue to warm th… Continue
