I need some molds for pouring my own bullet head jigs, 16oz 24oz 32oz with 12/0 hooks. I know that they are big but I have been searching everywere and havn't found anything. Any help yould be awsome. Thanks
When looking for jig and plastics molds online (fun winter activity for us old folks that don't ice fish) I came across a company that makes custom jig molds, Hi-tech Lure Molds. They supposedly are fishermen with machining background that got started when they couldn't find molds that they wanted. I have never bought anything from them, so don't know what their prices are like. You could always shoot them an email and see what they would charge you. Here is the link to their website: http://www.hitechluremolds.com/
Hey thanks Stef I appreciate your help,
I have actually found some molds and they are working great for me. I'm gonna check that sight out anyways for future use.
Thanks again
I had a fishing buddy once that used to build his molds out of JB Weld, using his existing jigs for templates, he said they only lasted for 5or 6 pourings, but, it was still cheaper to pour than to buy new. You could probably use one of the epoxy putty type products available like Waterweld or something also. Hope this info was of some value.
