SWIM BAITS OR CRANK BAITS?

I have a few swimbaits and throw them some but i have no faith in them,i usually throw them a few times and then change to a crankbait.Where and when do ya'll throw them?

I Use Both, As I Prefer The Cranks, The Swim Baits Are Most Effective When Fish Are More Active, If Things Aren't Happening Swimming The Bait Try The Stop And Jerk Technique, Give It A Short Jerk And Let It Die This Works For Me When The Bass Aren't In The Mood To Chase There Food, Also From The Mouth Of Al Linder & Bill Dance Never Stop Trying. And Don't Be Afraid To Try Something New.

I don't really use either of them too often. I have really been diggin' the looks of those SOFT swimbaits though, especially those Money Minnows.
