Just back from Oneida Lake. The guys outfished me this trip, sadly. My plain hook and worm usually knock 'em dead, but was a dud this trip. The inline spinner did the trick this time.

We caught some of everything...smallies, white bass, rock bass, largemouth, catfish, sheephead, walleye (only one), pickerel, pumpkinseed (huge ones), perch, and probably a couple others that I can't recall. It was a great trip.

Mosquitos and caterpillars are very very bad this year. Itchy itchy.

Next trip to Lake Champlain in about a month. Boy, I wish I was retired!

Very nice Robin! My honey went with his club in the Delaware Bay yesterday and caught an 80# drum. Can't wait to see the pics of that one!

On our trip Wednesday we had a blast and this was my first time out with Captain C and Uncle Bobby so I was real pleased when I got the first fish, the biggest fish and the smallest fish. It was great and I will do it again. Didn't get sea sick either!!!!

Next week we are taking a long weekend and going walleye fishing in NY. We've been to this lake before, but targeting bass. We'll see how the walleye bite! Just being on the water with my sweetheart is the best. Catching fish is a bonus!

You are welcome. I'd love to have a 45 or 60 pound cat on. Maybe we'll have to arrange a trip down south.

Wow!! Sounds like the pike put up a good fight, I would love that! The only screaming reels I've heard are from 45 & 60 pound catfish, strange and exciting noise for sure! We caught some bream today, let 'em go and said grow up and visit again. Going to see if we can arange a trip up north to fish for pike. Thanks for the info.
