Lakefront action lively, catch it while it lasts. Night time smallies being taken on the rocks, crawlers and leeches recommended from the scene. The salmon are back, so this is definitely a limited time Lake Michigan smallie opportunity. (The return of salmonids generally heralds the end of catching anything else along the Chicago lakefront.)
