RECIPES TO TRY.......CLICK ON NAME FOR RECIPE IN FULL PRINT

Seafood Stew.docFish Cakes
1 pound of steamed pike, walleye or fish of choice
1 box of stuffing mix
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese ( or cheese of choice)
1/2 cup of grated carrot or zucchini seeds removed
1/3 cup of mayonnaise
1 to 3 tablespoons of sweet pickle relish
3/4 cup of water
1/2 to 1 teaspoons of Old Bay or seafood seasoning of choice

Mix the cheese, carrots or zucchini, mayonnaise, relish, seasoning and water together well then add the stuffing mixing again and fish last. Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Form patties lightly.

Heat a large skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium heat and cook patties to a golden brown about 4 minutes each side. Enjoy.....
Can use can Tuna or crabmeat also.....


Tartar Sauce

1/2 - 3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup horseradish sauce ( give or take to your taste)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 tbs. parsley
3 - 5 tbsp. pickle relish
splash or two of lemon juice
pepper to tastle

Mix all ingredients together and use with any fish sandwich or blackened fish or seafood of choice.

When it comes to fish, simpler is better. I like it either fried up in a simple batter with some tartar sauce or grilled in aluminum foil with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

I would think that gator could be cooked the same as turtle or any other reptile. Check out turtle recipes on the web. Gator is one food we have not tried, but if it is like turtle we would love it.

Nothing special. I just buy the instant stuff and mix it up with milk. After a bit of trial and error you'll learn how thick to make it. I lived in England for 8 years and believe me that is not how they do it but the result is close and my way is a lot quicker and easier. : )
