Try something that looks natural when retrieved slowly, like a carolina-rigged worm or similar, although I would have went for a popper first too.

Definitely a good Swiss Army Knife, not a knock-off. I have one that has seen use, misuse and abuse for about 15 years now. A wide-brim hat that keeps away the sun and wayward flies and lures. Polarized sunglasses to get a good view of what's in...

I just checked it out. Good job.

It's not hard to blow money on fishing supplies! I went into LL Bean in Maine a couple years ago and had a field day. I lucked out this summer for fly tying: I met the taxidermist. I came out of there with 7 species of furs in a large feedsack, m...

Oh yes, it's fly tying season as well. I'm selling a few boxes of them for xmas now. Gotta get a few bucks when you can.

I'd like a place that size, but I live in a trailer and I'm set up in a spare room about the size of a bathroom. It's pretty cramped and I need to get rid of some junk, but it does.

Nice crankbaits too. I concentrate more on flies myself. Made almost $500 this year selling them in stores or personal deals. I get to travel a fair bit for work, bringing in salmon fry and shipping out smolts to sea cages. Wherever I go, I'll br...

Very nice shop. You make better use of your space than I do, that's for sure.

Al, The Red&White spinner is smaller than it looks in the pic. I modeled it after a Dare Devil spoon. It was built with BIG pickerel in mind.

Holy cats! that's a lot of bugs.. I feel like when I walk into the hardware store; gotta look at them all...this is worse than power tools! I'm heading out now to chuck a buzzfrog, maybe I can get a few pix of some local 'flies'.. and catch a fish, too. Back to ya soon...

That's a fair price.. done deal. I'll see if I can get some pix of the local dragonflys, to further your pattern/designs. Although lately, 'murphy's law' has affected my camera. Any 'picture worthy' fish, or anything else, shows up only when the camera's far far away...
I'll send some $$ in a day or so..

fishing has been pretty good for me recently. in fact, I was in sparks last week and my grandpa took me, my cousin and his girlfriend fishing on the truckee river, and between me, my cousin and his girlfriend, we caught 13 trout.

Sir Oziimond....,

check out the crankbait pictures i put on my profile (when you get the chance) and let me know if you can make anything similar... i wish I had my fishing tackle to show you exactly what a jitterbug is... they weren't hitting this past weekend, but i can assure you that they have produced numbers!

The thing with these crankbaits I'm showing you... they have that rattle inside them - they also float (or rise back up to the surface of the water once retrieve is stopped/ thus not being snagged on weeds)

gotta run now but we'll talk!

Jair
