I don't fish nearly as often as I'd like; lately it's about 2 weeks worth per year. I think I was born with a love of fishing and my Dad nurtured it in me. I would love to do it more! I'd also like to learn how to fly fish someday.
I've been fishing since I was a little girl. My Dad, sister and I would fish up at our cottage in Northern Wisconsin (mom and brother spent time in the cabin). Now my husband and I fish together. We fish a number of inland lakes in Wisconsin; have also fished Lake Michigan, the Bay of Green Bay and did a little salt water fishing in the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. Went on a trip to Canada last August for the first time and had a super time catching walleye, northern and smallmouth bass. We're going back again this year in August 09!
Also enjoy kayaking, running, reading, camping, travel, golf, pets, and reading the Bible. Hubby and I went to San Francisco last March. Recently completed our graduate degrees in management. Now looking forward to MORE FISHING!

Hey barb.. about the shark in the kayak extravaganza... I was shaking SO badly! I really don't think I would do it again. There is simply no place to go... I could hardly paddle back into shore! LOL, yeah I can laugh now!
It's perch time here on Lake Michigan. I am hoping to get out tomorrow and grab a stringerful or two. Happy catching!
I definitely agree! Wisconsin is a beautiful state and with many lovely spots to fish. I'm from Southern Wisconsin so I don't fish up north very often, however, I brought my pole up with me at school this past semester so I was able to try it out there.
Hey Barb! This was a Spring Salmon which weighed 37lbs 4 oz. I caught it last August off the coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Over 30 pounds they are called King Salmon. I fish in the Ocean in an open 14 foot aluminum boat. Lots of excitement catching this one!
