Yeah true. Up here in Canada they call walleye "Pickerel" I guess when someone see's a fish with teeth it's automatically called a pike of some sort haha Although they are part of the pike family
I grew up in Buffalo, NY, and we always called them a 'sheephead'. I know the proper name is freshwater drum, but thats what they are called regionally. It depends where you are. People here call Crappie "Calico Bass". Down south they may call them…
fresh water drum are good eatin, to me and my family they taste as good as large mouth bass and crappie.

- The boat is named after me I guess. I earned the nickname years ago.. my license plate on my truck is "Mr Big Dog" lol The boys got that for me for Fathers Days a while back..
Thanks for the comment on the boat its alot of fun. Just wish I could find a way to put a couple down riggers on it..:)
