st. croix hands down the legend tourny rods are unbeatable. ive broken alot of stuff but never any st. croix. as a guide i buy the best quality and they look killer to nice bonus
It's all in what you think is "expensive". You may think an Ugly Stik is expensive, or you may think a St. Croix rod is expensive, it's just mostly on personal preference.
But anyone in their good mind will know, the higher the price tag the better…

ABSOLUTELY !!! Once you fish a good quality rod their is no going back to cheap stuff. Besides the weight of the quality rods is next to nothing and the sensitivity alone will help land more fish because you feel everthing.

the "ugly stick" has no backbone. do you know what that is in a fishing rod? if your breaking g-loomis's and lamaglasses your holding your non reel hand to high on the rod and not letting the rod do the work...with an ugly stick you 'need' two hands…
