First I am a wife, then a step mom, and third..... a fisherwoman!
My father once told me i was about 4, that if i wanted to go fishing with him, I had to do it all myself, bait, and bring it in and take it off! As a wife, my husband and I cannot wait to get into our boat, as a step mom, it gives me shivers when we are all out fishing! My family loves the outdoors, and we love to fish! I feel sorry for those peeps that don't know how, or won't try!

Kawarthas you say?! interesting... where abouts do you normally fish in the area?

Any good secluded lakes that myself, my girlfriend, and another couple can get out on the lake and get two boats in the water? We've been to Elliot Falls off of Hwy 35 (if you've heard of it) Moore/East Moore Lake off of Hwy 35 as well...

Any suggestions..., if not for a nice secluded place for the 4 of us, but maybe a good fishing holes anyway?

love your pics! and yes i totally agree let the big ones go.. Take a Pic not a fish! plus its easier to carry the pic in your wallet then the fish! lol

Ayr is in the Waterloo area isn't it? We are in Muskoka but do some fishing around the Sault and North as well. We live release as a rule and only keep what we are going to eat that night. The big ones always go back. We do keep salmon though. I smoke them, plank them, make bisque - you name it.
