Cast and retrieve. Simple enough. However, some people like to "dead-stick" their BIG swimbaits in California.

Kind of new to muskie fishing, but I have caught a few by "accident" throwing for larger bass in high wind or high choppy conditions, so really all I had that would stay in the water were large spoons I have done ok casting from shore with kastmast…

Some of the best producing lures to throw for muskies are shallow invaders, bulldawgs, and double cowgirl spinnerbaits. There are probably not a lot of people throwing these in pineview, so i might give them a try!

Haha! I do catch them all the time! Muskies though, not tigers. Pineview in UT is one of the best tiger lakes in the US. Pineview is also stocked with tigers. Tiger muskies only occur naturally in the wild when a female musky's eggs are fertilized by a nothern pike. That is what created a tiger muskie.

Do you cast a lot or troll when you fish for muskies? Tigers and genuine muskies both have the same feeding habits.

No, I don't really have any favorite lures for muskies, but I usually try to use lures based on the conditions. Where do you fish for tigers at? I have only caught one small tiger in my fishing days....

Yes. I am a natural Indiana Jones. Parachutte me into the wilderness and I will survive. I love the great outdoors and any outdoor adventour.

Maybe try downsizing your bait and using a more natural color - sometimes that works. But sometimes they just don't want to eat.....it is as simple as that.
