We got out last sun onto puslinch, had a couple fish, some pretty nice pike, perch, and crappies. Gonna be heading out onto cooks bay (simcoe) on the 27th, that is exciting. First ice rocks!

for simcoe check "lake simcoe area message board" for info on cooks bay there is also a cooks bay report, the guy who runs it updates with video every day. Cooks has a 2" skim, not safe yet, be safe!

Its Bassmass eve in Ontario tonight!

The alarm will be set for 4:15, gotta pick my fishing bud up,get the canoe on the roof, get a large double double and be on the water by 5ish to meet the sunrise and hopefully tire my arms out with a serious number of football smallies. I'm sure my morning will be the same as many other ontarians, i got me a hotspot i'm dying to try out (ask me no questions, i'll tell no lies!)

Help a young-en out

SKip and Lefty were on some river in PA and using flies. Lefty said that these fish were eating crawfish. Then went into detail about it and they were using a craw or shrimp fly. Then showed how the carp were actually turning over rocks and the calluses on the head from looking for crawfish. It was actualy pretty cool watching them fish for them. Had a flat bottom with a deck almost like a saltwater skif.....

Not sure how much he weighted, but he felt pretty good. I didn't have scales I wasn't expecting anything like this. The guy that I had take a photo for me had a tape so he measured it. My Rod was 6'3" Bronzeback and was rated as a light....I was testing out the new Garcia Soron spinning real and it's great I love that thing.

Anyway stay in touch and let me know how you're doing fishing and I will do the same. Was going out today, but had T-Storms and we are suppose to have rain all dad on and off.
